Welcome back!

Mental Health Statistics

Rhetorical Questions

Health - mental, physical

Goal: Ensure healthy lives and promote good wellbeing for people of all ages

Mental Health Ideas

  • Everyone should have access to affordable help such as counselling, psychologist and anything else they need

  • Mental health rates especially suicide rates should be reduced durastically

  • Men's mental health should be more talked about and more common

  • Mental health can effect everyone, no matter what age, gender and race

Statistics:

  • 1:6 NZ adults are diagnosed with a  mental disorder at some point during their lifespan

  • Females are more likely to experience a mental disorder no matter what age

  • 16.6% of nz adults have been diagnosed with depression at some stage of their lives

  • New zealand has the highest teen suicide rate in the world

          Rhetorical Questions:

  • Is health just a physical matter?

  • Should mental health be something we care about?

  • Did you know around half of new zealanders will experience mental health issues during their life?

Thanks for reading
