What Is Culture?

Welcome back!
This week we have started our new PBL for this term.
It is all about culture.
We were set a task to create a blog post explaining what culture is.
Here is what culture means to me:

Culture is what you call your background.
If your family is from Australia then you have an
Australian background. Your culture can have special things that they celebrate.
Your culture might play a special sport or eat a special food.
Culture is special to us because it helps us to identify each other.
I am from Malta and Ireland but I don't celebrate any special traditions from there.
I celebrate Catholic traditions such as Christmas and Easter.

About Malta:

Cuisine,
The food in Malta is made up of a mixture of Italian and English food.
National dish:Stew tal-Fenek (Rabbit Stew)
Other Dishes:
  • Fried Rabbit with wine and garlic
  • Fresh and Cured Gbejniet
  • Gozitan Ravjul
  • Figolla (Easter Sweet)
Sports:
  • Golf
  • Water Polo
  • Football
  • Tennis

Comment Question:
